Locking your keys in the car happens to everyone: the boot shuts with the keys inside, a child presses the lock button, or the car locks itself while you're loading the shopping. It's frustrating, but it's one of the quickest jobs we do.
How we open your car
We use the same kind of specialist entry tools that professional locksmiths use across the UK. No coat hangers, no forcing the window and no broken door seals.
- You call or WhatsApp us with the car and where it's parked. Send a photo if it helps.
- We agree the price before we set off.
- We open the car gently, usually through the door, without damaging the paint, the glass or the lock.
- We check everything works: locks, windows, alarm and your key.
If your key is lost rather than locked inside, we can also make a new key on the spot.
When we can help
- Keys locked in the car or in the boot
- Car locked itself with the key inside (common on keyless cars)
- Key fob battery died and the doors won't open
- Door lock jammed, frozen or damaged after a break-in attempt
- Key snapped in the door lock
Is a child or a pet locked in the car on a hot day? Call 999 first. Don't wait for a locksmith.
Why not just break a window?
A side window often costs more to replace than an unlock, and you can't drive home safely with an open window. A professional unlock leaves the car exactly as it was.
Where we work
We cover South London and Surrey, 24 hours a day: Croydon, Sutton, Kingston, Wimbledon, Streatham, Lewisham, Epsom, Redhill and Reigate, and the towns around them (SE, SM, CR, SW, KT and RH postcodes). Home, work, car parks, petrol stations or the roadside: we come to the car.
