Most cars come with two keys, and most people lose one of them sooner or later. Driving around with a single key is a risk: if that last key is lost, broken or stolen, a replacement is a bigger job and costs more. A spare made now is the cheapest way to stay safe.
What kind of key do you have?
We make spares for most makes and models, including vans:
- Flip keys and remote keys: the blade folds out and the buttons lock the doors.
- Keyless and smart keys: the car opens and starts with the key in your pocket.
- Basic transponder keys: a plain key with a hidden chip that the car must recognise.
- Van keys: Ford Transit, Mercedes Sprinter and Vito, Vauxhall Vivaro, Renault Trafic and more.
How it works
- Tell us the car: make, model and year, or simply the registration number.
- We agree the price before we set off.
- We cut the new key to match your car and programme it so the car recognises it.
- We test both keys: locking, unlocking and starting.
You keep your original key, and both keys work.

So if you're down to one key, it's worth doing now. If you've already lost every key, see all car keys lost.
